COLORADO FOOD ASSESSMENT FRAMEWORK
Client: LiveWell Colorado, State ARRA Grant
• Develop written/web-based framework for analyzing state and regional food systems
• Determine potential for increased food production, processing, distribution and access to healthy Colorado foods
• Collect resources demonstrating best practices in community food systems and develop tools to help local communities advance policies that will lead to improvements in their food systems
COLORADO FARM TO SCHOOL
Client: Colorado Department of Agriculture
• Support the development of regional Farm to School networks across the state
• Develop the tools needed to make long-term, market relationships thrive between fruit and vegetable growers and schools
LONGMONT COMMUNITY FOOD SYSTEM ASSESSMENT
Client: LiveWell Longmont
• Work with the LiveWell Longmont Coalition and its food systems subcommittee to develop both product and process goals for a city-wide, participatory food systems assessment
• Inform LiveWell Longmont's policy and environmental strategies to improve access to healthy foods for all residents

Client: LiveWell Colorado
• Set a strategic framework for conducting a comprehensive analysis of Colorado's food systems
• Lead development of a practical food policy prescription to help state and local leaders increase access to healthy foods across Colorado
HEALTHY KIDS LEARN BETTER SUMMIT
Client: Colorado Legacy Foundation
• Coordinate and develop an interactive health summit to bring policy makers and community leaders together in partnership with educators and school districts to improve student health and wellness
• Work with districts to develop cross-disciplinary teams and assist in the recruitment of these teams

• Staffed the Metro Denver Health & Wellness Commission’s Healthiest Schools & Early Childhood Team, and Access to Healthy Foods Team
• Promoted policy and environmental changes such as stronger school wellness policies and tools to work with local policy makers to improve access to local, fresh, healthy foods in Metro Denver
• Facilitated a strategic planning process to develop a Colorado Food systems Policy Council with funding from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation
NATIONAL HEALTHY EATING ACTIVE LIVING CONVERGENCE PARTNERSHIP
• Conducted formative research efforts in the initial stages of the Partnership and in their efforts to design a healthy living peer to peer learning network
